Eau Claire, Wisconsin – Nicolet Law Accident & Injury Lawyers is proud to announce that Joseph Goetz, Senior Paralegal and Manager of Culture & Core Values, has been selected to serve on the Wisconsin Association for Justice (WAJ) Paralegal Board.

Joseph Goetz, who was Nicolet Law’s first employee hired by Russell Nicolet in 2007, brings a wealth of experience to his new role. As a key member of Nicolet’s legal team, Goetz has been instrumental in the firm’s growth and success over the past 17 years. His appointment to the WAJ Paralegal Board underscores his experience and Nicolet Law’s commitment to excellence in personal injury advocacy.

In addition to his new position with WAJ, Goetz also serves on the Paralegal Association of Wisconsin board as Director of Membership. This dual role highlights his dedication to advancing the paralegal profession and his commitment to continuous learning and development.

The Wisconsin Association for Justice, a respected organization focused on injury law, has advocated for injured people’s rights for decades. WAJ provides valuable resources, education, and networking opportunities for legal professionals across the state. The newly launched WAJ-PICP program offers paralegals the opportunity to earn certification through a combination of education and experience in the personal injury field.

Goetz expressed his enthusiasm for the new role, stating, “To have been selected to the Personal Injury Certified Paralegal Program board and to have the opportunity to work with WAJ is an immense honor and privilege. I look forward to contributing to the advancement of the paralegal profession and furthering WAJ’s mission of preserving the rights of the injured.”

As a board member, Goetz will play an integral role in designing and implementing the WAJ-PICP program.

”WAJ is focused on injury law and has worked for decades to continuously advocate for the rights of injured Wisconsinites,” Goetz explained. “It offers its members a wide-ranging variety of relevant Continuing Legal Education opportunities, seminars, listserv posts, and speaking engagements to disseminate knowledge. The new certification program will further enhance these offerings for paralegals in the personal injury field.”

The WAJ-PICP board consists of experienced paralegals and legal professionals from firms across Wisconsin. The board will review applications, with the first batch expected to be processed in October 2024. Successful applicants will be certified through December 2025, with opportunities for continued education and networking at WAJ events.

Nicolet Law Accident & Injury Lawyers congratulates Joseph Goetz on this significant achievement and looks forward to the positive impact his involvement will have on the legal community and the clients we serve.
